Ottavia has been working in institutional relations for more than 15 years, gaining a deep knowledge of the retail and digital world. Before joining eBay in 2020 as Head of Government Relations Italy & Southern Europe, where she is responsible for developing the public affairs strategy and relations with institutional stakeholders, she was Public Affairs Manager of FREE NOW. Previously, she worked for approximately 9 years at QVC, a multimedia retail company, where she progressively held the roles of Advertising Standards Compliance Specialist, Government Affairs Manager Italy and Government Affairs Manager for Europe. During her career, she has also worked for the Italian Communications Authority (Agcom), for the Canadian Embassy in Italy and for the European Parliament, as well as having taken part in the General Council of Confindustria Radio TV and Anitec-Assinform. Ottavia attended the Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, where she graduated with honors in Political Science and subsequently in International Relations, before completing a specialization course in Communication, Competition and Intellectual Property Law. Passionate about digital innovation, in her free time she loves traveling and cooking, also experimenting in her own kitchen with dishes discovered around the world.
