Stefano Mauro is an Italian national working as Policy Director for e-Logistics & Taxation at Ecommerce Europe. Stefano Mauro has a background in Political Science and European Affairs obtained in Pavia and Brussels, and has eight years of experience in EU Public Policy. Through the e-Logistics & Taxation Working Committee of Ecommerce Europe, Stefano Mauro deals with different topics related to taxation and logistics of e-commerce from a legislative perspective, both at EU and global level, ranging from VAT and customs legislation, to postal/delivery regulatory framework, standardisation, and international taxation. At EU level, Ecommerce Europe’s mission has been to engage with policymakers to ensure a smooth implementation of the key regulatory changes impacting the various actors of the e-commerce ecosystem.
